Guest Update

April 1, 2020 | Covid-19 Guest Update
Currently, EFS Housing is continuing to welcome guests where we can operate safely and have the staff available to do so, and where it is still permissible under the latest state and local mandates. Like many businesses around the country, we recognize that these difficult, but necessary restrictions are critically important to the health and well-being of our guests, team members, partners, and the public-at-large. Additionally, please be aware that some hotel services or amenities may be disrupted while we work to support our guests and team members during the COVID-19 outbreak. For example, we have signs showing the closure of the common areas and gym. We also are continuing to modify our checking process to maintain social distancing guidelines.
All guests are encouraged to bring their own personal sanitizers and health items, pending continued shortfalls of available supplies, especially in Carrizo Springs.  Please contact the hotel directly should you have any questions relating to your stay.

Our teams have put in place response plans to identify, report, and address any potential concerns – and we continue to emphasize the importance of following our housekeeping and cleaning protocols, which include chemicals that kill influenza and other viruses when used as directed. Our priority is around guest and team member well-being and we have enhanced techniques used to clean guest rooms after each stay.  Hotels are paying particular attention to high touch point areas, door handles, locks and latches, light switches, desk surfaces, telephones, television remote controls, and bathroom fixture handles.  We will continue to update our policies as the crisis continues.
In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our associates.  This includes:
  • If they are not feeling well or an immediate family member is not feeling well, we ask that they stay home to avoid passing it to others.
  • Keep their hands clean and wash their hands properly. We ask that they use hand sanitizer whenever possible.
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle (proper diet, sleep, and exercise) to help keep their immune system strong.
  • Importantly, if they have flu-like symptoms, they are advised to consult a doctor and seek medical care.
If you have an existing reservation, we look forward to seeing you and want to reassure you that we are taking every reasonable precaution to promote a safe and healthy environment.

Your health and well-being are our highest priority and we truly appreciate the trust that you place in us when you choose to stay in Carrizo Springs.
